South and West Kent College
West Kent College is a further education college in Kent, England founded in 2014 as a result of the split of K College and run by Hadlow College Group. It has campuses in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Recognised for quality, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) conducted an assessment of the College’s university level programmes in 2012 and delivered a verdict of confidence in our management of academic standards and the quality of learning opportunities available to students.
West Kent College is committed to delivering high quality Higher Education (HE) programmes which offer students excellent value for money. All of our programmes have a strong vocational edge and have been designed to give our graduates the best possible chance to succeed in increasingly tough job markets. We offer specialised professional qualifications in a flexible range of two-year Higher National Certificates and Diplomas (HNC/Ds), Foundation Degrees, Teaching Diplomas and one-year BA Honours Degree Top-Ups. Some programmes are offered on both a full-time and part-time basis, suiting those who wish to work and study at the same time.
We are proud to be seen as the ‘Local University’ in Ashford and Tonbridge, with a diverse range of programmes available at both campuses. These programmes provide natural progression routes from our Further Education (FE) programmes and the opportunity to gain a HE qualification awarded by of one of our four respected partners (see below).
The College has approximately 450 students studying for a HE qualification, making us one of the largest college providers of HE in Kent.
