Applying for university can oftentimes be an overwhelming experience. With over 37,000 undergraduate courses in the UK to choose from, it always helps to get a good head start with your search.
So, Where Do I Start?
The first key date to be aware of is the deadline for submitting your UCAS form, which for the 2016 academic year is 15 January 2016. Before filling in your form, however, it is best to do as much research as possible in order to feel confident about your university selections. Through UCAS you can apply to up to FIVE different universities, and so even if you have a target university in mind, it is best to increase your chances by looking into others as well (you might even surprise yourself!)
How Do I Choose?
UK University Search is designed to guide you on your quest to find the university that is right for YOU. The ‘Find a Uni’ search tool is a quick and easy way to browse UK universities by subject and site. Simply register using your name and email address, and choose from a wide range of courses and locations. This will produce a refined list of universities which offer your choice of subject, and which are located in the area most suitable for you.
What If I Want More Information?
A great way of getting more up-close-and-personal with universities is via the events and fairs run by UK University Search throughout the month of October. These fairs will enable you to speak to universities directly and gather all of the information you need in order to make a confident decision.
Let the Quest Begin!
Remember, the earlier you start looking, the better your chances are at finding the perfect university for you!
